What's been keeping us busy!

It's been a very busy New Year for us and it's taking a bit of time to get a few new features up and running on the site. Finally, we had some down time this week and we're able to add a few more great items on our Online Shoppe. Shop What's New now and find what we have available. We'll be adding a few more things throughout the month so keep checking back! We'll try to get everything up as soon as we can.

We are launching a few new articles feature on our site as well. We have a newsletter signup and also an articles section.

The newsletter signup is located in the bottom right of the footer and you can also opt-in for the newsletter if you choose while you create a new user account here. By default, we do not opt you in, as we respect many people would rather have this control themselves. Using the signup link in the footer allows you to opt-in to the newsletter without creating a user account if you don't want to make an account at this time. By joining the newsletter, you will be the first to know about special offers, sales, and updates. This is a low-volume newsletter so you will not have to worry about daily mails filling your inbox.

The articles section is an exciting new feature that we plan to use to create interesting and useful articles and how-to's for our visitors. For instance, the first item to be published is a piece on decorating ideas using antiques and vintage items. We thought this type of article would be useful for anyone that is thinking of getting started in redecorating and needed a few thoughts on how to get started. We tell you how to go about envisioning your new decor using some items we have available on our Online Shoppe as well as using things you may already have in your home.

We are also launching a Tumblr feed where we will feature this article as well as pictures of things we find interesting for decorating ideas. We will also feature some items we have on our Online Shoppe from time to time. We like the Tumblr concept because it offers our visitors a well known forum to interact with us and with each other.

In addition to Tumblr we have created a Google+ Community named "Antiques & Vintage Junkies." Some members have already been utilizing this community to post what they are currently selling and also to talk about their experiences in this hobby. Check it out and start sharing today!

We hope you are as excited as we are with these new features...
